I'm playing knee brace free for first time in 3 years, torn left knee meniscus. No surgery taken but just deciding to rub some dirt in it at this point, handicap in last 3 years has risen to 9.0 from 5.5, hopefully will start trending downward again.

Played Lake Murray Saturday and Gainesville yesterday and later this morning.

Shot 4 over yesterday at Irving Golf Club, former Twin Wells golf course back in the day. Fair layout, pretty decent greens.

Shot an 83 at Frisco Fields West yesterday. Wife shot a 90 and hit 13 fairways. Greens were crazy fast.

I had the opportunity to play Whispering Pines in Trinity, TX Tuesday & Wednesday. This is the #1 rated course in Texas. The best course I have ever played. Very humbling, greens running at 13-14. Par 3 course is also a blast to play. If you ever get a chance to play it, don't miss the opportunity; a bucket list destination for the avid golfer.

I 0layed for the first time in six weeks yesterday...... and it was rough. it took a while for me to settle in. We got 14 holes in before it got dark.

The wife is really coming around, her weekly lessons are paying off.

I'm getting things ironed out, thinking about jumping into some new irons. I have players distance irons, but want to get into some more traditional lofted clubs. I graduated to a heavier, X stiff shaft for my driver. It's amazing how much of a difference a shaft makes.

The wife is coming along nicely, she is starting to put everything together, and just in time for our Wednesday night scrambles.
