I think I designed that vehicle when I was in second grade.

I saw one this weekend. I had no clue what it was. And what I saw was a truck??

I feel like the prototype was a joke, a troll, a jab at truck owners. Then it received so much attention and Musk was like 'They actually want to buy that god-awful thing? Well, ok, it's just a box, some batteries and a couple electric motors. Crank 'em out!'

And here we are. What was it PT Barnum said?

They are supposed to be bullet proof, So I assumed the design is for that function.

90% of truck owners use their truck as a city car. Most never get off road or haul anything. Musk is just making a product for the yuppy truck owners that are want to stop global warning.

That's how I have felt about it too. Musk was on Rogan's podcast once talking about the flamethrowers and how he had even told his team it was a terrible idea but there was an audience for it and sold over 20,000 units. He doesn't have to know jack about trucks to be an amazing capitalist

And that one-upper crowd will be very disappointed when they take delivery of their new Cybertruck expecting luxury-vehicle quality at the Cybertruck price point.

For what they are… the price is probably fair. Luxury vehicles they are not.

I'm guessing that black one was wrapped, that thing will most likely rust when moisture gets trapped between the plastic and the stainless steel.
