Bucket list without the ride. If PH had waited to shoot, lights out for the rider and all would be saying why didn't the PH shoot. Trust your PH. My question is why was the that guy so far out front of the PH?

My guess is that the buff surprised everyone and hit them from the blind side. No way would a decent PH let an inexperienced visiting hunter take point on a wounded buff.

I didn't get the impression that anyone in the video was a client. Definitely cool heads. Doesn't mean something couldn't have gone horribly wrong.

Correct. Guy with the bolt gun (closest to the Buff) fired while the guy was just barely off the horns of the Buff.

Presumably (or hopefully) he was aiming at the shoulders.

PH (double gun) fired only after things were clear.
