Utilized moth balls, peppermint spray and Irish Spring but it wears out and you have to maintain it. Had rodent issues continually. Ran electric to my storage spot and put one of those plug in the wall ultrasonic in the engine compartment and have no problems since. Still keep Irish Spring in the cab. No issues for years.

I don’t know if I ought to tell my neighbor about the soybean oil problem. He bought a Kyoti and I got the Kubota, and I don’t want to depress him. He spent less money on his tractor than I did, but now he’s buying hoses and wiring at pretty high prices.

I don’t think telling him would solve anything. The problem is the problem.

I have had 3 people tell me that cattle ear tags with insecticide work great, have some ordered now.

had to have our new trackhoe fixed yesterday due to rat chews, dam near burned it up, fuel return was spraying right on the turbo.

this has been working good for me too, I use this on the inside stuff, one pack in front of sxs and spray heck out of the shop once a month.

I ordered some of the pouches, and I’ll give some to the neighbor.

We go through buckets full of RAMIK and Tomcat rat bait each year after losing a jeep scrambler to fire (rats chewing up wiring), radiator hoses on tractors, and all of the spark plug wires were totally missing on our 9N Ford tractor. They have ruined the interior of our John Deere 4640 tractor. As long as we keep our 6 bait stations full, we don't have any problems, but they can strip the bait stations clean in just a few days. Each station hold 12 chunks and a cup of pellets. The little buggers have consumed more poison this year than in the past.
