I will add this - IMO there is no better county in Texas to hunt LF trophies - there are book deer listed all over the B&Crocket record book and has been for years -

This is no lie.

I had an opportunity to lease a place that I hunted a few times that was 1800 acres out of a 6000 acre ranch. You would pass on a 170” deer, the hunting was that good.


For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.
