SnakeWrangler's thread made me want some green chili and today is perfect for it.
We have 34 degrees with first a wintery mix and now snow, yuck !!
Spouse is trying to skin out the mt lion's feet and head but it is still frozen, heater going in the garage right now.

I afraid my green chili is not as pretty as SW's but it is tasty.

Pork lion cut into chunks
half a white onion diced
3 cloves garlic diced
chicken stock
cumin
Mexican oregano
1 can Rotel
chile powder
1 tomatillo
salt and pepper
lemon juice
roasted green chiles- I used some Big Jims and a few Pueblos

I blend a few chiles and the tomatillo together and dice the rest of the chiles.

Ready to simmer a few hours.

We have about an inch now.
I'd like to kindly request that you all keep some more of this moisture down there.
Looking like it may set in for a while and add up to trouble.

Looks great! It's a sunny 71 here and I'm about to start a deer roast outside.

I confess an occasional four or five inches of snow -- like once a year and gone in three days -- is most pleasant and peaceful and conducive to wonderful things coming out of the kitchen. Any more than that, no thanks. I am too old to shovel the stuff.
That batch looks scrumptious.
