We have 3 of them. I don't even know how old they are, but they work just fine and last forever.

Remove/loosen your leg strap around your barrel and refasten it near the top of your barrel. Then attach your legs to the leg brackets. This way the legs are further away from the feeder spouts thus keeping those darn raccoons from getting to the pellets.
