Used to eat the dills quite a bunch, Claussen where great, now days I prefer pickled okra, just as good with great texture added imo I love pickled okra, as well.

Hunns Private Select made by First Place Foods in Garland. They were one of my customers, Sam's Club and Restaurant Depot has them. Their dill pickles are excellent, but their spicy bread and butter are incredible.

Vlasic for regular every day pickles is best. When you want a really good pickle (especially spicy one) get you som McClures!

Their dill pickles are excellent, but their spicy bread and butter are incredible. I can’t trust anyone that likes bread and butter pickles. Those things make me gag. I'm not big on regular bread and butter pickles but their spicy ones are awesome.

Well not against pickled plants in general i typically prefer pickled products to have a bit more protein. Cindy's Deli has awesome pickles. I buy them anytime I'm in the metromess. Great reubens too! Random fact but my wife used to eat there (Coit and Campbell) a lot because she worked for her dad who owned a newsstand next door. Their dill pickles are excellent, but their spicy bread and butter are incredible. Count me in as one who thinks that B&B pickles are of the devil. Well not against pickled plants in general i typically prefer pickled products to have a bit more protein. Pickled eggs in a pinch but my fav is herring: Just trying to one-up bread and butter guy.

Shoot count me in with the grandson lol Had a 22 year old working for me during the covid 20-22, we worked on the road and I got to where I'd buy food and keep it at the motel, he thought I was nuts when I came in with 4 jars of P okra, but after he tried one with a turkey samich, he would down at least a jar a day!

We used to can our own pickles. But now we mostly use old family recipes for refrigerator pickles. Same with salsa and pickled okra. We also do a refrigerator version of mixed vegetables.
My favorite is pickled cabbage and carrots on a grilled cheese patty melt.
