Garbage! Yes, I thought I could get a better IR light than what came with the Wraith Mini for a modest cost, so I bought the T50. Silly me. Wasted money! I put the original IR light back on and looked around in the dark happily.

I’ve been using their red lights for a decade with great success. I assume the IR filter lens is sub par on it.

8 or 9 years ago, they were a good option. I think improvements in the technology may have bypassed them a bit. We were using those and dfwroadkill's (and others) versions of kit IR lights back when seeing 200-250 yards was considered pretty darned good and shooting over 100 yards was considered a bit excessive by many. Given the range and image detail in the video below, looking back, they weren't wrong. Part of the problem was the digital NV was not very good as compared to today. I went through probably 8 or 9 relatively inexpensive IR lights (all sub $120). Coyote Cannons were either new and not well refined at that point, or not available yet, but they were more than I wanted to spend. This is from 9 years ago... Here lately, I have been fairly impressed with digital NV scopes and accompanying IR lights are often good out to 200-300 yards for shooting and certainly may see 500 or 600. 603Country, did you get an 850 nm light or 940 nm light? That can make a huge difference. 850s shine much farther for the same amount of energy input.

I got the 850 light. I took that Uniquefire off the gun and put back the one that came with the scope. Much better. One thing that I wonder about it that the original Wraith IR light can be focused and the direction adjusted for best view. If the Uniquefire can be focused and directed, it might make a big improvement, but I can’t see how it can be done with the mount that came with it.
The stand where I’ve been after that big bristle-back hog is 150 to the feeder, and I can see just fine, and it’s good to 200 for sure. Past that, I don’t know. I do know that I can see out to 300 yards, but haven’t had a critter to look at that far out.

That sucks. My Wraith hasn't worked worth a flip with the cheapo Amazon external I had on the Photon for a long time or the IR light that came with it from the factory. I just bought this Uniquefire and mounted it. Looking up and down the street at night its much better that what I had, prob won't get to hunt with it for a couple weeks. 2 things I like are that the beam is adjustable and the little knob to adjust the brightness is better than having to keep pushing a switch to toggle through the levels. Downside was I didn't realize it was 30mm and had to order a new mount after I got it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011I9R3JM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
