My grandmother used to jar her own pickles. Clausens are the closest to that experience. But my grandmothers were better! Great memories. They grew multiple vegetables in their own Chicago suburbs garden and jarred and canned everything.

Agreed. Refrigerated section....usually near the deli meats and cheeses. Their sourkraut is top notch as well.

If ever there was a mass-produced product that could never be improved upon, this is it. I would tell you to change my mind, but you can’t. Costco- Just compare ingredients. Some of the best pickles Ive had

Agreed, Claussen is king! All other pickles are substandard in comparison. I typically buy the sandwich stackers. Makes cutting up for salads and hotdogs easier too.

Me and a bud built two steel buildings last year. Of course it HAD to be hot weather. One in June and one in August.
Those pickels are kept in the cooler iced down, next to the Gatorade and the beer for quitting time.
You need to eat some of those pickles at noon, and 2 pm at a minimum. "Medicine"

Would love to try the Grillo's, but no Costco nearby. My go-to has always been Nalley's Banquet Dill, but they don't seem to be widely circulated anymore. I make do with Mt. Olives. Not a Claussen fan. Too much garlic or something.

Agreed. Refrigerated section....usually near the deli meats and cheeses. Their sourkraut is top notch as well. I had them in my meat department lunch meat section. The lids, surprisingly were loose sometimes and we couldn`t sell them. Made great snacks during the day . Great product. Some giant food group like Tyson Foods hasn`t bought them yet and F`ed with the recipe like they`ve done with lots of products.

Try the Walburg pickles or however you spell it. I am in on Claussen, but these are next level.

When my grandmother would make those or Dilly beans they were huge chunks of garlic in the jars. I loved to eat those soaked garlic chunks. Awesome memory. Clausen does a nice job
