I stopped buying Leupolds about 10 years ago. Maybe their quality improved the last 10 years. Their original CDS dial was a pile of crap so I moved on.

About three or four years ago I saw a +$2K MK 5 fail to track and fail to return to zero, right out of the box.

It was sent in, and of course they made it right by shipping out another brand new scope.

It got sold and a NF ATACR purchased for a similar price. I never heard another complaint.

Their 3-9X33 AO scope is my favorite rimfire hunting scope and I have a bunch of them. Small, light and clear at any distance. They are kind of hidden on their site and most folks don’t know it exists.

Thats was my experience, Been on a 10Plus year hiatus. I bought this last one on a big discount and is only reason I decided to venture over. I also understand one scope isnt a very good sample size, but doesnt exactly set well. I hope the New Mark4 line is as tough as its marketed.

Glad they finally put the PR2 reticle in another scope. Any thoughts on the new PR3 reticle?
