Season is coming to an end and I would like to get my boy out in the woods before it's over. We havent gone all year due to caring for my wife's grandfather that's on hospice. We both could use a break out in the woods but don't want to go too far in case we are needed. Looking for advice on possibly some public land around the Orange Tx area that may prove fruitful. I have sent a pm to a mod that was recommended for info/advice to no avail. Any help or advice is appreciated. TIA
God Bless

I am saying this hesitantly. I grew up in SETX (Lumberton/Kountze), and the only public is the Big Thicket National Forest. There isa visitor center in Kountze that can give you all the info you need, the Lance Rosier unit is just north of Kountze. I say hesitantly because it is real easy to stumble into a marijuana grow out there.
Some days you're the pigeon, other days you are the statue!

Yes, Big Thicket or Davy Crockett national forest would be your best bets.
My father in law lives in Orange.
