Nichols does Lions and Bears in AZ-- I think he does public and WMAT

Is this a THF member or do you know what the outfitter is called.

Nichols Guiding Service, doubt he's on here but he was at the show.

I went again yesterday and wandered around but had my 3y/o so didn't stop and chat like on Thursday.

General trends:
-Continued decline in the number of Alaskan outfitters with the exception of the places that run a full lodge or large fly in service... I think the 'drop camp' guys are basically completely gone-- at least from the show they are.
-Decline in the number of lower 48 outfitters-- this is anecdotal of course but it seemed like there were far fewer outfits from WY, NM, etc Couple of the large fancy ranches but the wilderness outfitters weren't there in the same numbers as I remember.
-Increase in european outfits, saw more spain, france, croatia, etc than previous
-gunmakers guild seemed to get smaller as well (sadly), as I really enjoy their craftsmanship

Don't forget the NRA show will be in town May 16-19 and anyone in the guns/shooting industry will be there. We went last time they were in Dallas and I was impressed by all the vendors.

up

Great time at the DSC. I wasn’t aware that I could get in free for being a LEO, that was nice. Parked underground, no wait to get in, almost nobody in the show. We saw every booth in 4 hours. Didn’t buy anything, but got to put hands on what I wanted to and got some info on hunts for later this year.

They raised the price for sure. It's expensive, but I paid it. Kids 16 and under can get in free. On top of the pricey admission cost, they make you fill out a ridiculous amount of information to "register" to get in. A ton of personal info required, you can't just buy a ticket to get in.

look forward to pictures. Hound hunts can be the most physical hunts out there.
