I'll be there Thursday and maybe Sunday... I've learned to avoid Saturday for the most part!!

It still surprises me they couldn't find another venue anywhere in the DFW area while the new center is built... Won't be making the pilgramage to ATL thats for sure.

Going out Saturday. I'll be shopping for a Mountain Lion hunt, anyone know of any lion outfitters that will be there?

Heading there Thursday. Not looking to buy anything or book any hunts, but it's an awesome show.

I'll be there on Saturday. Always enjoy seeing all the outfitters and gear... not to mention a good place to walk around and drink a beer!

If you've never been, it's a pretty cool experience and there are many nice things to see (guns, taxidermy, all sorts of gear, other eye candy). I believe their Atlanta commitment is 4 or 5 years so it won't be back this way for a while. Check it out if you can!

You gotta watch out for the dimes walking up to you in sprayed on leather pants. Right about the time you think you got it going on and they are wanting to just chat it up you get, "I'm selling raffle tickets for the club, they're $100.00. I'm in college doing this for extra cash so if............."

I was thinking about it, but work decided to work Sunday and close Monday due to the weather, and you couldn't pay me to go on Saturday. If you do go check out my internet friend Madeline Crumling's booth she is damned fine engraver.

Thursday was a good day at the show, not too busy and nothing earth shattering but it was easy to get around and talk to folks you wanted to talk with.

Found out that the big 3 story MB blind isn't just a show piece but actually for sale....and cost more than my first house!

What was their price this year? We pegged it between 35-50k last year and I think the answer was six figures.

I'm pretty sure it's somewhere around $200,000 from what I remember last year

I heard tickets were $35.00 per head. I hope I'm wrong, but at that price I'm out.

Yep $35 for a day pass and $20 parking. Was worth it for me to put hands on gear I’ve only read about.

Don't forget the NRA show will be in town May 16-19 and anyone in the guns/shooting industry will be there. We went last time they were in Dallas and I was impressed by all the vendors.

No way I’m paying that much to see things for sale

Oh, you should go to SCI. roflmao They're REALLY proud of all the outfitters they've strong-armed into donating hunts for their pecker-measuring banquets.
