Makes sense.
This years QB depth in draft is pretty deep. He woulda probably been no better than 7th QB taken.

Drake May
Jayden Daniels
No Nix
Penix
McCarthy
Next year he could be in top 3 QBs taken.

Isaiah Bond would be a nice fit for Texas. Bond is solid player, Texas lost a lot of receivers and has Ewers returning.

Recruiting is important. But not as important as developing an 18 year old who has always been the best player on his team.
I can list dozens of 5 stars that are washed up and blew their college career. They don’t realize that the next year they make more 5 stars. And all 4 stars want their jobs.
I kinda feel Evan Stewart is going down that road. yelp, fielding a team is more important then an individual. Jimbo just proved what happens when you let boosters buy stars instead of not fielding a complementing team. UT is light-years a head of A&M but they aren't completely there yet. I feel like every time UT gets success they revert right back. Sak’s done better than I thought he would this quick, hopefully it stays his program A big Katt Williams no no no, no no no...... stick to your guns..... you had your chance to jump on the bandwagon.

He was locking ADs in lockers over rumors.
He probably got 4 percent of about 100 extra million this week.
