just be very careful on your choice. A bobcat can be the most beautiful or the ugliest animal mounted. No in-between.

I agree that Bobcats seem to very hard to do , I can’t say I have seen a good one

A nicely tanned hide is great to have, you can handle it or make yourself something to wear if wanted. They display nicely almost anywhere too.
Mounts are really iffy unless you know the taxidermist well.
That being said there are some really great cat taxidermists out there, do your homework on anyone recommended.

Not the best picture as I was moving out at the time. Summer coat and they had to cover up a pretty big entry/exit. It is technically a wall mount but I like it better as a pedestal.
