My game camera took pictures of 2 coyote killing a deer. First pic shows a deer hitting the top wire of the fence and flipping over presumably being chased by the pair of coyote. After a 30 camera delay, the pictures show 2 coyote on the throat of the deer.






Here's what I found the next morning.

I hate them with a passion....

Neighbor just told me that a pack of coyotes took down a cow on some land next to his place. He didn’t say if it was a calf.

I was able to call one of them in a couple days later and give her a dirt nap. A couple days later I had the other one hung up 300 yards out and haven’t seen it since.

My coyote numbers have significantly reduced after I stopped leaving hog carcasses on my ranch.

My hog population has declined with the coyotes on them. I was watching some piglets with a sow at a deer feeder. Suddenly, a coyote ran by, grabbed a piglet, and kept going. I know that they take deer, mostly fawns, but I now have a lot more pigs than deer.

I’ve watched them run down a full grown buck. 2 of them is typically more than a deer can handle.
