Here is the video of a doe I shot a couple weeks ago. As mentioned in one of the previous threads, this doe has her head down when I released and she dropped a good bit before arrow impact. Distance was 20 yards (you can see my 20 yard rocks marker I have set up). She didn't go far.

I grew up with my dad teaching me to shoot when their head is down. But, with advent of videos, I'm convinced we are better off shooting with their head up. Even if they are looking at you. When their head is down, they can use their neck as leverage to crouch down quicker. When their head is up, they lose that leverage and actually drop less.
But, nevertheless, good shoot. Good video.

Love your videos. Very educational. Ive got a good chance and arrowing a big one in the morning. Ill have two videos set up.
