Getting ready to head out. Will take Sun over clouds any day. Lots of motion in the dekes early- not seeing much wind. Hopefully not a ringer fest today. We have been passing on them the last few hunts. Been seeing god numbers of teal.

Hunting w buddy for first time this year. Will probably pressure the lake an extra day this week so will shoot the first ducks we see.

Teal are thick all over. This rain is gonna help a few spots I've had my eye on. Lots of good freshly flooded groceries.

My kids are adults and we're celebrating Christmas with the inlaws tonight and my side tomorrow afternoon. Maybe I can sneak out tomorrow morning.

That’s my goal- dinner w in-laws at our home- no wine or whiskey for me- will head out for solo hunt in am. Added board to wetland to get a few inches backed up into some smartweed.
