Have worked 12 hour days every day since Nov 09 of the rifle hunt until today with the exception of a half day last weekend to cut a X-mas tree with my granddaughter. Pretty much sick of it (and honestly getting too old for that $%^# but sometimes i am my own worst enemy) so put my clients on notice. Leaving 9am Sunday morning and driving north and then snowmobiling until i find good ice. Nephew is in so won't be solo (to the relief of my wife). Expect to drive 500 miles north and then snomobile ???? miles into the back country - but remains to be seen. Told him to bring warm clothes, sleeping bag and whisky - I have everything else covered. Has the potential to be epic as we are kindred spirits but also has the potential to fail in equally epic fashion - my favorite kinda adventure. BIL has opted out as fly by the seat of your pants especially in the back country in winter is not in his comfort zone. Return date not set but probably Wednesday. Until then.
