I always tip at Sonic. My daughter worked at one in high school and she made some serious coin for a kid. I worked in the kitchen at one for a short time one summer in high school, before I could drive. 'Manager made you clock out THEN clean the grill. I told Dad and he said "You're not working there anymore."

I told Dad and he said "You're not working there anymore." She was a carhop. She owed me some money and went to her room to pay me. I was stunned at the roll of cash she had!
