What Guide services have you used in Texas?
My first hunt for pheasants was in 2019 and I've patiently waited for that hunt to start again. It got stopped due to covid in 2020, and then the lack of rain in 2021 and 2022. This year that area had plenty of rain, but it did not start back up. Think its one of those things that was great, but died.
With that said, I'd like to find an outfitter for 2024, but want to stay in Texas.
Any recommenations are welcomed.

Crooked Wing Outfitters in Lubbock - you’re looking at pin raised birds likely since the droughts.

Top Flight in Columbus is good. Pen raised, but their birds fly pretty well.

Prairies End in Gainesville, TX is awesome. Ask for Tip Davis to be your guide. The owner Joe Enderby is to notch in my book. https://texasbirdhunt.com/

Prairies End, Triple L, Top Flight are all good. I'll add Burk's Quail Run to the list also.
Lot's of small towns in the panhandle do Pheasant hunts in early December, some guided and some not. We went to Olton last year but didn't go this year as numbers were down. Some supplement wild birds with pen raised others don't. Look at Olton, Cotton Center and others.
