No comparison. In Baseball the best team wins 2 out of 3 from the worst teams. Wildcards often win in baseball. Not so in football. Anyone that watched FSU last night knows that FSU would get beat by 30 if they played Michigan.

If FSU wasn’t good enough to be number 4 then why were they good enough to be 5th? By the way they viewed them and voted they should have dropped to 7th or 8th due to being on a 3rd string QB. If they are still good enough to be 5th they should have been in the top 4.

If they wanted the 4 best teams currently it should have been Al, GA, WA and Mich.

2 healthy undefeated Conf champs, 1 loss SEC champ and SEC runner up who only had 1 loss against the SEC champ.

I've been telling everyone that will listen that Texas is on the come up, but nobody listens. The silence now is rather enjoyable.

All these teams are good. None are bad. That’s what makes it difficult.

3 of the power 5 conference champions were undefeated. Two had one loss. The one loss teams played head to head and the SEC champion lost.
Texas beat the SEC champion, and only team to beat Georgia. When you quit ranking teams based on wins and losses, there is no longer any compelling reason to play the games. The selection of Alabama over FSU has the outright appearance of bribery. Network TV is all in on the formation of an SEC super conference. In the face of wins and losses the SEC champion was inserted in the playoffs at the expense of undefeated FSU. So who should be inserted in the championship game if Michigan, Washington, Texas, or Alabama has their marquee player get injured in a win that could diminish their chances?

Then again, you're mockingbird mouth says that same thing every year. You say it enough you'll eventually be right, like you are this year. Texas is easy to hate.....it's a nationwide thing, not just here.
