That's an amazing story, my Dad one time witnessed a South Texas Booner clear the sendero when the truck was coming down it and basically bed down about 10 yards off the road behind a huge prickly pear mass only to get up upon the truck's passing. There were doe in the area at the time but the buck's actions were interesting to witness nonetheless.

He's a little rutted down in these mid-Nov. pics. Love his double white throat patch in that 2nd fog morning pic where he's looking straight on at doe in pen and camera.

Missed this joker, showed up 2 days ago. Guess, why it's hunting and not killing....

True to form, "Slippery 7" and his nice 8pt and 10pt buddies paid a visit last night, like they have a 6th sense or something. Game On and hoping one of them "slips up", lol.....
