Looking for an axis meat hunt. I’ve never actually harvested an axis, but have been lucky enough to score some sausage a time or two from a buddy. Gun or bow hunt does not matter to me. This is also my first time posting so I’m finding out how this forum works still. Any information is appreciated. Thanks

I process 2-3 whitetail every year, a couple of years ago for my birthday in the summer I did an axis hunt and Axis is way better eating in my opinion.

Axis rut is in the summer so that is the best time to find a meat hunt for Axis.

Keep an eye here and some will popup, look back through this forum and you will see some of those that post axis doe hunts.

the summer is prime for the rut, but for a meat hunt, now is a good of time as any. Feeders on adjacent ranches will be shutting down to increase chances on those still spinning.
