thats hard one, We have had mild fall so far, if we hadnt you wouldnt think twice about keeping stratus. With that said Franatic jacket is better then stratus IMO for colder unprotected weather, like tree stand

Thanks BOBO, after wearing the Jetstream behind the pine curtain on a recent trip I picked up the Stratus yesterday and realized how much beefier it is. You are right, it has been extremely mild... I will keep it, though now you have me thinking about swapping it for the fanatic! Probably more than I need, so I think I will hang tight, though I do love being toasty! Thank you all for your input and happy holidays.

The stratus is made for treestand hunting, and it is my goto jacket above 35 degrees for that purpose. Once it dips below 35 i will reach for my fanatic. Both great pieces but the fanatic gets worn mainly from mid december till end of season in texas/OK, if we lived more north i would rec fanatic.

The jetstream is a great jacket but a little loud for treestand/bow hunting. For rifle hunting it would be fine. But on days like this am, cold and super calm/quiet, the jetstream would not allow a good draw cycle or really any reasonable movement due to noise. Thay is where the stratus and fanatic lines shine.

This am was between 33 and 32, little to no wind, wore fanatic on top with base (Cabela’s mid weight top) with stratus bibs and base of elberstock net and stone glacier helio bottoms and was perfectly comfortable. Had the fanatic beanie on the head but didnt need the neck gaiter. Had deer within 12 yards and they didnt care i was there and moving some. I have learned by experience the jetstream will not give the same benefits up close. But i do really like my jetstream for other purposes.
