I waited too long this season to even attempt at doing this. But next year I would like to take a youth or two or maybe even three youth hunting. Over the years I had brothers and friends kids that would hunt some opening youth weekend, but it has been a couple seasons since a youth got out. Does anyone know of any clubs or organizations that a hunt can for lack of better words be sponsored through? Or any other good ideas on how to find youth hunters in real need of an opportunity to go hunting? Thanks!

No clubs known.

Many years ago my grandson, about 8 yoa, told me that he had a friend that wanted to hunt. Long story short, the kids dad brought him. That little kid is getting married in a couple of weeks to a sweetheart who has learned to bow hunt. My grandson, also married, is the best man. I told them they can’t honeymoon at my place during hunting season. I’ll be there.

Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.

The Texas Youth Hunting Program uses landowner hosts or sponsors. There is some info on the website I linked below. I have taken my son on hunts through this program and they are top notch.
