Sat out in the blind last evening. Saw the most does I’ve seen in a group all year. Naturally the doe season is over in this county. All I wanted, before the 20th, was a little cold weather. Not too much to ask, is it? Grump grump grump…

It was crisp this morning in Mills County, guess that’s why I shot three does.

I thought this morning would be great. All I saw was 2 coyotes and couldn’t get a shot at them.

It got down to 24 in N Erath County this morning with no wind. Does moved good (saw 11) but only 2 bucks compared to 3 days ago when I saw 9.
