El Pato jalapeno (green can) salsa. Not too hot, not chunky....smooth, flavorful. Hell on the Red is good as well

Mateos is my 2nd go to. It is thicker than hell on the red, so might be more up the OP's alley.

My only complaint is the hot could be hotter. Love the green chili salsa too.

The fresh salsas from HEB (produce section) are pretty good, and they have a variety. Mateo’s is also good stuff.

I like this one a lot. I’m pretty plain Jane with salsa, my go to is H‑E‑B thick and chunky. It’s similar to pace. It’s heavy on tomato it I like tomatoes.

We eat 2 jars a week of this. I can only find the mild version now around here, used to get the medium but it is hard to find. I also like Julio's in the glass jar better than the refrigerated version.

Best we have found is at Miguelitos here in Sanger. We buy 2 large Styrofoam Cups that fill up a quart mason jar for $6. It really good.
