I think I ride with Sneaky on this. That, and IMHO, I think it's also a really high-quality mount for the 1940s. Very few old mounts I've seen come close to that. Had a buddy in Kansas who had some deer mounted in the 70s and none of them looked that good.

Of course, it's up to you. I can certainly understand wanting to get it re-done. I have my Booner from 2004 that hasn't "traveled" well over the years. Not a very high quality mount and looks like a doe with a huge rack. grin I really want to get it re-done...to me, it would do the buck justice.

That is a great buck and the history behind it adds even much more to it.
Well worth spending the money to get it re-mounted! Great idea


High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
