Headed there for weekend hunt, anyone know if the bucks are rutting or getting started there? Thanksgiving usually was prime time. Don’t know where your at but hunted a ranch between Cherokee and San Saba that had some very nice deer. Much bigger then south toward Llano
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

We right on Colorado river pecan orchard on other side of river I'm in Mills but within 10-12 miles of you as the crow flies. It's been full-on for a week, get there fast! Our typical peak window is Nov 11-17.

Hunted in the 90's there and late Nov was prime.
