Thinking about increasing either my feed times from the feeder, or doing it 3 times a day instead of 2. Right now it's morning and afternoon, but was curious if you thought it would be more beneficial if I added a 3rd feeding time say 9/9:30am or just made my 2 current feed times longer.

When he was young, I told Dale Jr. that hunting and racing are a lot alike. Holding that steering wheel and holding that rifle both mean you better be responsible.

will you still be on stand? I have seen most of my deer are coming to the areas I have used my road feeder on the way into my area. Last Sat. morning I drove in and had deer in the immediate area, started slinging corn and they parted like the red sea until I passed, by the time I parked and got in the stand they were all over that area I just corned.

I would be in my stand or blind. I don't have a road to drive down and feed when I get there. Just a normal feeder with a timer.

I like to hunt from daylight till dark so a second throw works good for me. You can see a lot of bucks in midday whether you throw corn or not. I think most that throw an extra throw do so about an hour after first.
