I'm 99.9% sure I saw a dead one on the side of the road coming back from Austin on 10/29 on northbound i35E. Was just outside Waxahachie bw mile markers 401 and 399.
Anyone else by chance see it as well?[/quote]

Makes walking to and from your stand in the dark a lot more interesting  I guarantee he watched you at least once. They don’t go far. They like deer meat more; but be careful if bringing out small children. He looks well fed; that’s good

We got a similar picture in one of our feed pens some years back. He was spotted live by one hunter but it was a quick look and he was gone. So I drove to a stand in the dark one morning that was near where this lion picture was taken. Fed out and parked my buggy and walked to my stand. Hunted and then got down to go back to my buggy. It had rained a lot and as I am walking I look down and my footprints were in the mud. Walking right over my prints were lion tracks. May be older too. Almost looks like he may have been collared at one time.
