I recently shot a nice deer that has scoreable matching points between the base and the traditional g-1 (browtine). So where does the first mass measurements start ? Would they be between the bur and the matching sticker points ? Or the smallest point between the bur and what would be the traditional brow tines ?

Thanks. So the 1.5” sticker on each base that match perfectly would not be considered a g-1 correct ?

Traditional Brow tine, G1, G2, G3... are what are measured as in the typical and other points are nontypical and count in gross score but deducted from net score.

Mass Measurements are at smallest circumference on the main beam between Burr and G1(Brow) then between G1 and G2 and on until you have the 4th measurement per side. if I remember correctly.

Thanks to both of you. That is how I score deer and how i assumed this was to be done. however I’ve never come across it to where I had to actually measure one in this instance.

you have a picture? If the stickers are truely inline it could be consider g1

^^^^This. It would be unusual and there is judgement involved by the scorer.
