What’s wrong with filming officers?
I agree some get too aggressive, but a lot don’t.
I believe everyone should obey the law even leo.
I respect leo, but I’m not a boot licker either.
Just do your job, if you can’t handle someone filming you, get another line of work.

I did not read where he said he was afraid of a camera. I’m guessing what officers don’t like is dbags in their way screaming at them with cameras in their face. It’s not the way I’d like doing my job. I’ll go out on a limb and assume even dbag cop haters wouldn’t like doing their jobs in that environment. (Assuming they have jobs)

I love people that assume cops are jerks. Like the op here. They love to scream “just do your job” when they did not take a job where a momentary laps of judgement can take someone’s life. Or where they’ve got to deal with some woman’s face beaten in by her old man. Or a child that was molested. List goes on and on. Only to have cameras shoved in their face and some complete [censored] hat call them out on a forum because of YouTube. Get a life dude. Or better yet go hunting, it’s hunting season

There’s nothing wrong with filming the officers. Actually, law enforcement started videotaping encounters before smartphones even existed in order to quickly dispel BS complaints. That being said, the 1st amendment YouTube folks earned their reputation of trying to elicit a negative reaction by their behavior. They do everything they can do to get clicks on their videos.

Those folk's entire intent is their 15 seconds of fame on the Internet...

Why is he complaining?
Some leo believe they should be the only ones with cameras, then they can turn them on and off as they wish.
I think it should be criminal to turn a body camera off during an arrest.

We had one of the "Leaders, Generals" of this movement who lived in our city and on occasion he would come down to speak with the Chief of Police, he thought he was something on a stick, funny really that he thought he was actually important...I laughed every time I saw him come around.

There’s a cop that got sentenced to I think 50 years for planting drugs on people he stopped for a simple traffic infraction, trying to get a promotion.
Who here would want that to happen to them?
Go to prison because of an egomaniac?

Every profession has bad actors. 99% are probably good, No reason to over react.

I've seen this one too..... it was sad, he would target people who may have had problems in the past.

Like I said, glad they caught him, makes law enforcement look bad, most of those guys get exposed pretty quick.

I started this thread because of what I saw and it hurts my heart to see such behavior in leo.
If you condone what happened to that poor old woman and mentally challenged man that’s just sad.
Some people shouldn’t be in leo is my point.
I have 10 grandchildren and I teach them to obey the law and stay out of trouble, and be good citizens.
I expect the same from leo, we are paying them to do a job lawfully.
A lot of them think we work for them.

The guys doing it are such losers. I couldn’t imagine looking up to them.
