From Matt, Hudson's Dad, Good morning from Hudson!!! He just dozed back off, but he has had a great morning and evening with us, his oxygen has not fell below 95ish and his heart is being paced at 130. His BP is steady around 95/65 give or take. God bless them and Hudson. not sure how it works with Hearts. On the parts in my eyes that are from donors, I got a letter from the company that collected and distributed the parts they sent me from the donors Family and I responded with a letter. With my initial letter I got a protocol sheet to read and section to fill out. Part of that was to allow the donor family to communicate through the organ company as that letter was or give the donor family my contact information and they can contact if wanted. With that process it is the donors family that initiates contact and what kind of contact they want to have. I expressed my deepest sympathy for their loss and thanked them for the blessing they bestowed on me with the gift of good vision without pain was headed toward legal blindness with as well as life of pain in the eyes without their gift. Haven't heard back from either but guess knowing their gift changed my life for the better might have been enough.
