Murphy can throw the deep ball better then Ewers, but my god is he bad at the intermediate range. I would rather Texas run the ball more, and start Manning next week.

Malik was pretty bad today, but no where near as bad as Quinn was last year in a couple games (notably Oky State). Has to learn that every play doesn't have to be successful, but they can't be disasters either.

He is dangerous with the ball. K State could of had 4 picks if they could catch. Then he missed easy crossers over the middle. Simple pitch and catch, not to mention the screen he threw to a K State defender that was being blocked by a lineman on a screen play. The RB was probably 10-15 yards from where the ball was thrown......

Ewers will be back this week. If it’s truly an AC joint sprain, he can play through the pain.
When Bryce went down last year with his AC joint sprain, AJ Mccarron immediately called the injury and thoroughly explained the QB effects. I bet he’s back and that will help with 10-20 yard passes.
