Stopped in there to buy a sheet of Cornbread because I forgot to make them for the pot of Pinto Beans I brought hammer
Waited about 30-40 minutes and saw a bunch of very large people taking advantage of the buffet, one guy double stacked the Chicken Fried Steak on his fully loaded plate.

Another guy ordered an omelette and put a bunch of ketchup and then Tabasco on top of his hashbrowns, never seen anyone do that but I bet it was a good combo!

Buffet looked pretty darn good.

I was wondering if the Green Frog was still open. My aunt and uncle owned it mid-late 70s.
We took an original Butterfield stage coach from the Frog out to the pasture land south of town. Pulled by 2 pair of mini mules, the weight of the coach and pavement was quite the ride. Good memories!

My aunt was THE BEST cook.

Thanks Stub, I’ve been needing to expand my culinary experience in Jacksboro since that’s where we hunt.. I’ve been spoiled by Herd’s but I’m not always in the mood for a burger.

Ok, so they got it from Hoppy I think. It used to have those little tv's you put a quarter in in the booths.

Now days the current owners are doing a good job with the food, it's better than it was in the last 6-7 years.
