They said the donor heart looks great and they are doing repairs on Hudson now. Donor heart should be here about noon. It takes about an hour to sew the new heart in. Then they will check for leaks and then close. I will update again when they finish.

Same here... it's a tough situation for the family, even with good insurance.

Thanks folks. I wouldn't ask if it would have been for me. He's got great insurance but has deductibles and is missing work along with his wife that just started a new job and has no PTO time yet. I appreciate you all for the prayers.

Done! I understand the hesitation, but anything we can do to support Hudson and your family is well worth it. Prayers up little guy!

C'mon Docs! - let God maximize the talents he blessed you with. May the surgical team and every person in that hospital feel your devine strength, Lord! Great Healer- maximize the skills of each person in the role they play today. Please comfort the donor's family as we know that blessed little one is with you. Give peace to them that only you can. For Hud and his posse, Lord, I know you are walking hand in hand with them. Let your army of Angels descend and protect Hudson. God, cast out fear, anxiety, stress, and tension and replace it with love, care, and confidence for Hudson, his family, and everyone else touched by Hudson's miraculous story. Amen.
