I'm to the lease Friday for opener, home early Monday morning. Back the next Friday, Saturday and Sunday for my annual take my wife hunting weekend. Then, it's just me and my hunting partners the 17th through the 22nd for the peak of the rut. Mule deer also, so I need to kill a good whitetail early that hunt.
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

Head up north to Shamrock on Friday. Sit on my glassing point Saturday and think about how great opening weekend could have been if that cold front had come this weekend instead of last. Looks like 70's and and camo fishing shirts this weekend... Oh well!

Hunt Lake Meredith. Shoot the first whitetail that offers a shot and look for a mulie during that season. In other words, the same plan as last year
