Maalik Murphy's 4 turnovers are the most by a Longhorns QB in his first 2 starts in the last 20 yrs - a concern going on the road to TCU and coach Steve Sarkisian waiting to see how Quinn Ewers' shoulder injury is recovering.

Sark and Murphy took steps back against K State. Sark doesn't seem to protect Murphy in regard to play calling. Seems to call the same type of game as with Ewers. Almost like Sark is saying," I will show all of you." Let Murphy get some confidenceat the beginning each game and then add a little as the game goes on. Sark does not seem to be very patient with Murphy. Might have to be a little more patient with Ewers also if he plays this week and add stuff as the game goes on. He will be rusty.

First 20 plays are scripted, so he does well. It's when he has to uses his head that he gets into trouble. My biggest gripe about Murphy is his carelessness with the football. I do agree that Sark should of helped him out more by running the ball more. Texas averaged over 6 yards a carry.....

TCU is bad this year. Chandler Morris is still out, so I don't really see this being close. We have a party to go to, so can't go to the game in person. But, I was surprised at how much the tickets are going for. My son and LOTS of UT students are coming up for the game. Going to be a ton of orange in the stadium.
