How do I figure out a good price for a litter of puppies? My dog (the dam) is very birdy, very obedient, great with people/kids and a natural retriever. The sire is a big running hunter who has won some field trial competitions and is qualified for life in GSPCA. Got all of his open puppy points and open derby points before he made a year old. Any ideas on a good price for their pups? Any advice would be great.

Pablo

The stud fee, is normally the same price as a puppy.

Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.
Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.
