Why wasn’t the play reviewed? Apparently in CFB, it's a conference personnel call on spot reviews Just saw BYU in TTU game wanting a 4th down spot review but no dice. UT got really fortunate on that call

They should of gotten Altuve into the game somehow.

I did read Ewers got hurt. Following that story. Defense is the weak link. Offense was off in Fourth but defense was the much bigger story. Those refs are eating well tonight on UT. Losing Ewers hurts but think Murphy brings a very unique aspect with his size. Few snaps and the are back on track offense. Dont think they will hinder much if he plays next week if that makes sense Defense better gut check though

Texas will have two of the better big 12 teams coming up. Byu looked pretty good today, as did K State. BYU beat Tech today. I think everyone can agree Tech is bad. BYU got bad by a very average TCU team 44-11 last week. At any rate, Ewers is out almost certainly next week and the BYU game will be a lot tougher with Maalik at QB.

And Houston lost to Rice and TT.
Texas struggled Houston, OU came from behind to beat UCF. UNC lost to a bad Virginia team. Washington is losing to a 1 win ASU.
FSU was against the ropes with Duke, until their QB went down.
This is the time of year that some teams really come together and play good and some teams get hit with key injuries.
I think Georgia losing Bowers is a big deal. They have to play Tenn and Mizzou. Mizzou is looking pretty good.
From what I’ve seen, the best and most complete team is Michigan. Not fancy, but balanced offense and good defense.

Only chance is if muphy went down, even then I dont think they would go burn a year of eligibility tossing Manning in this early, Now they may when they get to last 3-4 games but most likely not even then unless they make play offs. Not worth the potential loss of eligibility, and no matter how good he is he is 18. Regardless their offense doesnt have a QB issue, they have defensive issue
