They are called the Asterisk now and always will be. They are arrogant, believing they are the greatest baseball team EVER in the history of the game. The Asterisks will be happy to tell you that and list all their championships but leave out the one with the asterisk and will tell you everyone was doing it.. The Asterisks are grown men who cheated and stole playing alittle boys game. ALL of MLB knows it except them. All of MLB and NFL knows what Houston is and always will be, legends in one county of Texas. Dang. face paint 🎨 off the top rope. We could use your edginess in the Longhorn Lounge.

At least the Rangers get to claim Nolan Ryan. 👍 I don’t understand “claiming” Nolan. He may have finished his career with the Rangers but played longer with the Astros. And was with the Astros as advisor and minor league team owner until a couple years ago. I saw him pitch his first game with the Astros, he hit a homer his first time at bat that game.

Everyone is looking for an edge. Watch the sidelines of a college football game, they hold up several big signs on the sidelines for play calls. It’s illegal to try to figure out the meaning of the signs?

We went St. Louis to watch the Astros at Busch Stadium for two games. McGuire hit a walk off homer both games. On a positive note, that Busch beer they serve at the stadium was great!

Cold beer....another great thing about baseball. I played against McGuire in rookie ball in 1984. He was a tall, slender THIRD BASEMAN in Medford, OR I believe. Saw him again about 3 years later when he was with the A's in Instructional League in Scottsdale and he was a freaking beast, along with Canseco, and Dave "the cobra" Parker. I was sure glad a brawl didn't break out. We can add Barry Bonds (assswhole), and Raffy Palmiero to the list as well.

Why even have a rule that you can’t steal signs? Our coach (high school) would change signs every few games, and even in the middle of a game if he thought they were onto us.
Figuring out signs would be no different that figuring out a strike zone or a pitchers tell. I would just be part of the game
