Mule deer are not the smartest creatures.

I shot a buck that was with 4 does. After I shot he hit the dirt and kicked a few times. Walked over to him , took a few pics and gutted him.

The 4 does never were more than 40 yards from me the whole time

If you're not doing spot and stalk with a bois d arc long bow, using points that you chiseled yourself, moccasins that you brain tanned and sewed yourself, and only clothing that was readily available 200 years ago, you really aren't hunting. You are just taking advantage of technology. C'mon guys. Why do we still have these conversations?

Because there is a hierarchy of reachable “hunter” status. Obviously Im at the bottom, I use brisket, and corn.

Reread it.
It would take less than a month ta fill my tags if ya can drive close like that ta cull a deer.
That's what I pay a month for phone & data.
You the one ashamed ta admit you pay more than $540.00 a year.
Twas a simple question.
How much would you pay ta shoot one of those deers just one ?

what am I ashamed of? Im not whining about my life choices.

Im proud of my hard work.

$300 is what at least one of my yearly deer, elk or pronghorn hunts cost me. Some of my hunts cost more, some way way more. Alot of times I dont shoot anything and pass or lets kids hunt my spot. Yes I hunt ALOT, so far this year, CO, NM, Okla, and TX.

If you are to broke to hunt then maybe work more… Maybe alittle OT? .

How much do all the below animals potentially cost…… hint less then or equal to 300.

$300

Two things are true in this thread….

One being that Cross Canadian Ragweed sucks.

The other that Colt .45 is a fake persona.

The forum would be better off without either one

It says a lot about ya BoBo.

Making terrible choices ?
Not every one is Blessed ta have what you have.
Some one has ta take the low-income wages.
Others on here complain about the high cost of living.
& all I've ever said, it's tough on low-income workers too.
Just facts. & you an others are the ones say i'm complaining.
Yet never jump on others about complaining.
Any fake persona is the typing i'm doing now, cause been honest D- in grammer.
You & others whining & crying ta mods. So been working on grammar.
No one forces you ta read my threads or posts.
i like using the emoji's you & others whine & cry ta mods.
& thars more True than ta my posts than you think.

& about him pushing buttons.

cheers it's all good. Several times wished him best on hunting.
Whin leases started going more than the $250.00 a year, that was too high.
Had roughly 60+ acres ta hunt & then a WMA opened up just down the road.

& it's Not low-income works fault for the high cost of living.

Anyways best wish's on alls hunting adventures.

edit: ta BOBO, coolpics thanks for sharing. Whin worked on ranch hunted speed goat, took one.
Did some for mules, had no luck but seen several very nice bucks. Always wanted try the elk, but just didn't fall in place.

2/3 of pics I just posted are OTC tags and on public-accessible land. You are the only one that interjects money into hunting. You make is sound like Im posting pics of 180” deer and LO tag bighorn sheep hunts.

Want an elk buy a tag and go hunt.

No, workers dont have to take low wages. America provides bountiful opportunities for those who strive to better themselves for wealth creation. Low income workers are not responsible for the high cost of living but often fail to appropriately figure out who is responsible and keeps low income people in their financial ruts.

I used to hand dig foundation footers in the Hill Country with a crew who could only take direction in Espanol. Lost 8 of my 10 crew members on one raid. The next couple of days sucked and I vowed to never ever let that be my way of life.

Only a backwardly narcissistic provocateur could consistently turn honest hunting topics into political insights on how bad the boogey man is to those who have CHOSEN to stay within their own virtual caste system which they allow or prefer to be restrained within.

You mean you hired low-income workers ta do the labor, & you profited.

Low-income workers keep the cost of loving down.

Some people can't handle the truth.
Look @ the so called hog problem ya'll whine & cry about.
Hunting is big Buck$. Got thar, everything is leased.
Had place to deer hunt, 200accers. Everyone was going out Leasing.
Each ta own. Their was No hog problems around .
Some of in-laws had lease with hogs, it was 24-7-365 hunting.
Told him let's go after deer season. Yet we never went, so whin opening came.
It was $200.00 a year. 1 buck, couple days for bow gun, i enjoy archery. So could shoot doe & still have buck tag.
We had been taking kids camping, in tent since they in diapers
So it was a family camping trip, with chance ta put food on table. The hog hunts tis what got me inta Leasing.
Seen first hand, hard working people loose leases because, people could pay more for leases.
Got on here in 2012 , it a hunting forum, yet the grammer police kept whining about my threads,
Not because they couldn't read, (tis, twas, thar) bit rather, he's a Yankee, & posts like.

[i]what once was price of Gov. food stamps has become a rickmans sport.
pappy

People got on here, looking ta help out with hog problem.
They got slammed, looking for free hunt, saying they cause more harm than hogs, while i gave invites, public land
& yes, they not for the sissies, No baiting, ya can, sit on trails, or the rooted up areas, yet 90% of that takes place @ night. Archery hunts, very seldom seem the hogs .

It was the Jan-end March hunts for hogs. Off the beaten path, switch Cain, palmeda plants, downed trees, tall grass.
Ya had ta hunt ta find them. 2,3,4 miles back in were most hunters wouldn't go. Back pack worked best.
& for those who would like ta try True hog hunt, OSBWMA , son & i covered from one end ta another. @ times waste deep.
2000, tis proud ta say he joined the marines. He was well prepaired.
They called me, among other things, muyloco caveman @ work.

Ya'll brag about ya'lls good fortune, & look down alone low-income workers.
Guess it makes ya feel good.

Best wishs on your up come hunts.
Payed, roughly $40buck$ ta hunt this year.

Your bs Trump economics blaming low-income workers for your problems is what's wrong.

I am not going to read your whole post, but I want to correct you on your incorrect thoughts on my “evilness”. The supervisor hated me. He would give instructions in Espanol and then have to repeat it to me English. He didn’t like that and my tasks were somewhat dreadful. A lot of it involved a pickaxe and solid rock.

Your deleterious diatribes are often not spot on.

I can’t believe you are entertaining this fool. It’s painfully obvious he is putting on a facade that he can’t spell. When you rile him up his grammar gets 10x’s better.

I don’t know what pleasure or enjoyment he gets from playing this character online, but it’s clearly a character.
