So if they fire him and pay him $77mm, that doesn't mean their problems are solved. They are not the elite program that they think and could have a really hard time getting an elite coach to come there (even if they grossly overpay him). That's what got them in the Jimbo mess in the first place. They had to give him the most absurd contract ever and then they decided to make it even more absurd by extending him for even more money.
