Texas played against a backup QB who sucked. Tech played against our starter who was the only bright spot on the team.

I completely understand bringing in your own staff. If he was under contract, they would buy it out.
The speculate most head strength coaches make 400k. Did see Okla state pays one a million a year.

He probably made a million over 3 years at Texas. Probably another 600k buyout.

Plus, free shoes and hats.

Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this. But what the hell was Sark doing having the offense in the hurry-up on the last drive when they were either in or very near approaching FG range with all their timeouts left? They were no-huddle and snapping the ball with 20+ seconds left on the play clock when they should have been running it down to make Texas' drive which resulted in the go-ahead FG the last drive of the game. Maybe the FG is the last play of regulation or maybe there's 10-30 seconds left, but no way OU has time to go down and score. OU wasn't stopping the clock and Texas was going fast. To me, that coaching decision cost them the game. There are other things, but that one was easy.
