Kind of a strange weekend, morning are pretty slow, but afternoons have been fairly decent. Tomorrow is my last day, unless there's some birds here on the second split hunt around Christmas.

Afternoons seem to always be better late season dove hunting. Friday afternoon got to my spot at 4:00, a “fly away spot” birds like to come and go from roost to feed, normally pretty good, it was slow, shot 4. The about an hour left of day light, tried a field just plowed sunflowers, pretty good number of birds, shot 4. Had I set up there from the start I would have had an easy limit. So camped there and hunted there in the morning expecting it to be really good, and it was really slow, shot only 2 and missed another pair that came in.

Yesterday was my last dove hunt of the season.

Got quite a few birds still in the North Zone. Andrews, Texas to be exact. Averaging about 9 birds a hunter with limits reached! Call or text me to get in before season ends!
