A nearby rancher, who doesn’t maintain any equipment, asked me to help him work on his Kawasaki Mule. It was a basic machine, was real old and had only one wheel that pulled. A wreck, but still it kept running. He couldn’t kill it. Finally the block cracked and he reluctantly got a new one.

I sold him my old Yamaha Big Bear 400, 2000 year model. I maintained it well. Sold it to him about 6 years ago. It looks awful now, but still runs great after 23 years. Probably no oil change in those 6 years. Hurts me to look at it.

But,,,yes, a Mule would be a good choice. And if you do routine maintenance, it might run forever.

IMO no matter what brand you go with the number on factor is hours. I would stay with the name brands - Kabota, Polaries, etc. and look for one with the least hours
