I walked the Gerald Ford in Norfolk before it was commissioned. It's a beautiful ship, brand new, and in some ways, smaller than previous carriers (think more efficient). Not the same old tech with its catapult system either. I'm sure she and her crew are up to their task.

703 is AWACS. Tanker is not showing up. Alot of these planes do not show up but adsbexchange has the C-130 doing laps tonight off and on and a 703 in the air unhealthcaring things on the strip it would seem.

Israel has warned the 1.1 million people living in the north of Gaza to evacuate the area within 24 hours as a "humanitarian step in order to minimize civilian casualties" ahead of the military's response to Hamas' terrorist attacks.

Israel Defense Forces spokesman Jonathan Conricus shared the message he said was sent to citizens in Gaza on X, formerly Twitter, Friday morning.

"The IDF calls for the evacuation of all civilians from Gaza City from their homes southwards for their own safety and protection and to move to the area south of the Wadi Gaza, the river Gaza, as shown on the map," Conricus said.

I doubt Hamas will let any civilians leave. They need the bodies to parade around in front of the cameras, so spoiled university students all over the world can maniacally scream how horrible Israel is. They're animals...with a very keen awareness of how the media can brainwash public opinion.

I use google maps to check traffic a lot during the day. Just looked up Israel and the Gaza strip to see maybe what road congestion, etc might look like. There is zero info for either - wonder if that is a wartime thing google does or what?

Yes. Hamas is not letting any civilians evacuate. They want as many civilian casualties as possible.

That's based on data gathered from people's cell phones. Google may have also decided to stop displaying analytics for that area. Or maybe somehow Israel is blocking it.
